Attack Vintage Light Pods

Attack Vintage Light Pods
Easily add high brightness stylish accent lighting to your rig with MyTrickRC's Attack Vintage Light Pods!
Our Attack Vintage Light Pods feature high brightness White Attack Headlights housed in rugged scale Light Pod Housings. We 3D Print the Light Pod Housings using our high resolution Carbon Nylon printers so they are tough as nails. Injection-molded Clear Lenses protect your LEDs from the harsh elements on the trail.
Some Assembly Required
The Attack Vintage Light Pods come as a kit of parts for you to assemble. Once you have your Pods assembled, you have a couple of options for attaching them to your vehicle. Most commonly you would attach the Attack Vintage Light Pods to a beam or rail on your vehicle with a Zip Tie, but you can also attach them to a flat body panel using an M3 x 6mm Screw.
The pre-cut wires on the Attack Headlights require only a tiny hole to feed them through your vehicle body - keeping a clean scale look. We've included our clever EZ6 LED Splitter for connecting your Pods to power. The EZ6 gives you the freedom to remove any excess wire length for a tidy installation. You don't have to cut any wires, but you can if you want a clean install.
Also included is our Attack Light Regulator which lets you safely power your Light Pods directly from your Receiver. Simply plug the EZ6 into the Attack Light Regulator and then plug that into an open channel on your Receiver.

Assembly Guide
The Attack Vintage Light Pods come as a kit of parts for you to assemble. For gluing the various plastic parts, we recommend using a strong, but flexible adhesive such as Zap Goo or Shoe Goo.
Chrome Paint the Reflector and Housing (Optional)
While this first step is optional, we HIGHLY recommend doing it because it makes your Light Pods look so frickin' cool and it makes your lights shine brighter. You can use either spray paint or a paint pen. We've used both and they both yield good results. (Note that this picture also shows our 19mm Rectangular Headlight Buckets which we happened to paint at the same time.)
If you choose to spray paint, do so in a well ventilated area and use a backer like a cardboard box to catch the overspray.
Using a paint pen lets you chrome the inside of the Housing precisely without having to mask the rim and outside.
Thread the LED wires through each Housing as shown.
Place the Reflector on top of the LED as shown.
The assembled Housings should look something like this just before you glue on the Clear Lenses.
Pair up the + wires and pair up the - wires. (Simply match the two wires that have the dashed stripe and match the two wires without the dashed stripe.)
Twist together each wire pair.
You'll probably need to loosen the EZ6 connectors before you can fit the wires into them.
Connect each wire pair to your EZ6 LED Splitter. (Again, you can simply on either side of the EZ6's green terminal block match the striped wires with striped wires, and non-striped wires with non-striped wires.) Now would be a good time to power up and test your LEDs to make sure you got the polarity correct. If you got 'em backwards - no worries - simply disconnect them, swap them, and re-connect.
The finished assembly should look something like this. You're ready to mount these babies onto your vehicle!
