Installing Your Light Kit
To Trick Out your Vanquish Origin Classic, you'll need just a few tools:
- Allen Drivers 1.5mm & 2mm
- Needle Nose Pliers
- Nippers
Installing Your Attack Headlights
Top Tip: Do one Headlight at a time.
Carefully stick one piece of the Mounting Tape to the Headlight as shown.

Then stick the other side of the Mounting Tape to the Headlight Bucket. Note: The color of the Headlight Bucket may vary depending on production run - it might be white or it might be black.

It should look like this...

Using the Mounting Screws, attach each Headlight to your Vehicle Body. Be careful not to overtighten the screws which could strip the threads.

Use Zip Ties and a Zip Tie Mount to route the Headlight cable cleanly.

Installing Your Tail Lights
Feed each Tail Light into the rear of your Vehicle Body.

Then using the screws and brackets that came with your Vehicle, secure each Tail Light to the rear of your Vehicle Body.

Installing Your Red Tail Light Lenses
Use a fine-tipped object to apply a couple of tiny dabs of glue just inside the chrome tail light rings. If your glue bottle has a fine tip, you can use that. If not, you can use something like a toothpick.

Here's a Before/After comparison. On the right, our sweet Red Tail Light Lens is installed. On the left is the original unmodified light.

Installing Your Rock Lights
Your Light Kit includes two pieces that look a bit like a butterfly. Each is actually a pair of Rock Light Buckets. Using Nippers, separate each butterfly into two Rock Light Buckets.

Use one Rock Light pair for the Front and use the other Rock Light pair for the Rear.
Top Tip: Use one of the Mounting Screws to hold a Bucket and Rock Light together steady as you mount them to your Chassis.

Screw each Rock Light to your Chassis.

Plug It All Together
Body-Mounted Components
Mount your HB-2 Lighting Controller inside your Vehicle Body as shown here. Using the included Zip Ties and Zip Tie Mounts, cleanly route your Tail Light cable as shown and plug it into one of the Standard Power Ports (A, B, or C) on your HB-2. Plug your Attack Headlights into HB-2 Port D, and lastly plug one end of your 2-Way LED Splitter into one of the HB-2 High Power Ports (E or F). The handy in-line Quick Disconnects on the HB-2 and 2-Way LED Splitter allow you to separate your Vehicle Body from the Chassis so you can work on each individually without having to disconnect your Lights.

Chassis-Mounted Components
Plug your front and rear Rock Lights into the 2-Way LED Splitter.

Apply power and light it up!
